Luis Mojica is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Project to Decolonize Coffee. Luis founded the PDC after learning about the conditions and lack of opportunities Coffee Farmers endure while working in a philanthropic marketing deal between his client and a Colombian Coffee Company. The idea of starting the PDC was put into action after a conversation between Luis and his mentor on ways to help the coffee farmers and coffee pickers have access to fair trade for all. Throughout his career Luis has worked in both the public and private sector, in the past he has taken roles in the legal field, government, public diplomacy, and NGOs. Currently Luis works in the Equity Research Department for an Investment Bank in New York. Prior to his current role, Luis worked managing an International Energy Diplomacy Practice in a top 100 Global Law Firm, where he took on the role of Project Manager in various International Impact Projects.

Danielle Cahn is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and the Board of Directors Treasure of the Project to Decolonize Coffee. She has worked as a communications professional with broad experience in fundraising and labor issues. Much of her career has been spent engaging and supporting leading figures in politics, the tech world, and Hollywood. She has collaborated with authors, social-impact organizations and international companies on a range of initiatives, from non-fiction book manuscripts to development projects in the Global South. Her clients rely on her analysis, precision, and enthusiasm to refine their messaging and craft dynamic narratives.

Maria Clemencia Betancurth Franco is the Country Manager and Project Director in Colombia for the Project to Decolonize Coffee. She is an Industrial Engineer from the National University of Colombia with a specialization in Strategic Management from the University of La Sabana. With extensive experience in goal achievement, group management, and goal fulfillment, she specializes in strategy, commercial and business management, production management, cost management, and budgeting. She is an entrepreneurial leader and founder of a business in the food and beverage sector, as well as a university lecturer, consultant, and project engineer for the public sector.
